Flat Traveller Student Exchange (Based on the Flat Stanley Books)

Added 02 July 2011, 10:35 AM
Author:
Interested in exploring the rest of the world without the added expense? Then Flat Travel is for you and your family! Glimpse is looking to host a Flat Traveller exchange. This is where all interested people register for a Flat Travel Adventure, then create a Flat Traveller (flat laminated version of your child or group of children). Interested people who have registered for this event then send their flat traveller to Glimpse by the First of September to be forwarded onto another participating family. Then the family hosts the Flat Traveller for a period of 6 weeks, all the time writing about the places and adventures the flat traveller has on their holiday and photographing the Flat traveller in as many places and enjoying as many experiences as they can. Once the Flat Traveller has completed their Student Exchange they will be sent back to Glimpse head Quarters and then rescheduled to travel back to their original Family.
The more people we have joining in this exchange the more fun it will be. Participation is voluntary. HOWEVER once you register to participate your responsibilities change and you are required to not only create your own Flat Traveller to send to a family but you are also required to host another families flat traveller that will be send to you. Once you receive this Flat Traveller you must take photographs and write about the experience plus after the 6 weeks are over you must send the traveller on its way back to its family!

Flat Travellers will be randomly sent to another participating family, so until your Flat Traveller arrives back home, you will not know where in the world they have travelled to! Looking Forward to sharing some Flat Travel adventures with you all :)
